Hospitots opened in 1988 as a benefit for Maury Regional Medical Center employees located in Columbia, Tennessee. We are looking for a Lead Teacher, Preschool Teacher and Aides, and Infant & Toddler Teachers to join our winning team.

The teacher's primary role is to provide for the individual needs of the children in care by offering food, a safe environment, and a structured educational environment that meets each student’s emotional, physical, social, and cognitive needs.

Job Summary

As an Infant Teacher at THE Children's Academy at Hospitots, you’ll help care for little ones. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures each child's social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.

Responsibilities

Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to infant and toddler development levels
Documents infant and toddler learning experiences through displays and pictures
Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families daily
Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in a preschool environment
Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels at speaking with parents
Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
Shows initiative; strong work ethic
High school diploma
