Job Title: School Age Camp Teacher (Summer & Afterschool Programs)
Location: Sakonnet Early Learning Center – Tiverton, RI
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Up to 40 Hours/Week

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is hiring a School Age Camp Teacher/Assistant to support our engaging summer camp and after-school enrichment program. If you're creative, energetic, and love working with kids, this is your chance to build valuable experience in a dynamic, child-focused setting!
What You'll Do:
- Lead age-appropriate activities including games, arts & crafts, science projects, and outdoor play
- Supervise school-age children (ages 5–12) in a fun, structured, and inclusive environment
- Support homework time and smooth daily transitions between activities
- Promote teamwork, safety, and positive behavior
- Collaborate with teaching staff and communicate with families as needed
Who Are You:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with school-age children in group settings preferred (e.g., camp, afterschool, youth programs)
- Energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic about child development
- Great team player with a growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks

Compensation: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
