Company: Sakonnet Early Learning Center
Location: Tiverton, RI
Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7:30 AM–5:30 PM | Up to 40 hrs/week
Compensation: $15.00–$19.00/hour (based on experience & credentials)
- Plan and facilitate Enrichment: Lead high-energy activities—STEAM challenges, arts and crafts, team games, outdoor play, and project-based learning—that keep kids engaged and learning.
- Homework & Skill Support: Run Homework Club, encourage executive-function skills (organization, time management), and celebrate progress.
- Culture & Behavior: Model restorative practices and PBIS/positive guidance; reinforce routines that promote cooperation, safety, and respect.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain active supervision, complete headcounts, follow health/sanitation procedures, and uphold state licensing requirements.
- Family & Team Communication: Share timely updates with families; collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth transitions and daily schedules.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required (ECE, Youth Development, Recreation, or Education coursework a plus).
- Experience: Group leadership with school-age children in after-school, camp, recreation, or youth programs.
- Skills: Energetic facilitator with strong communication, behavior-management, and organization skills; reliable and professional.
- Mindset: Growth-oriented, inclusive, and committed to child safety and well-being.

Requirements: 18+; able to pass all required background checks; CPR/First Aid preferred (or willing to obtain).
