Location: Tiverton, RI
Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7:30 AM–5:30 PM | Up to 40 hrs/week
Compensation: $15.00–$19.00/hour (experience & credentials)
- Support daily instruction using developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) with centers, stories, art, and STEAM activities.
- Prepare materials, set up learning invitations, and help manage smooth daily transitions.
- Foster positive behavior through positive guidance/Conscious Discipline and strong routines.
- Observe and document developmental milestones; assist with portfolios and parent updates as directed.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in alignment with state licensing and center policies.
- Maintain a welcoming, organized classroom; assist with supervision indoors/outdoors to meet ratios.
- Collaborate with teammates; float to classrooms as needed to support coverage.
- A high school diploma/GED is required; CDA or ECE coursework is preferred.
- Experience working with groups of young children (childcare, camp, after-school, or preschool).
- Passion for child development, SEL, and inclusive practices; warm, patient, and professional.
- Strong communicator; reliable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- 18+ and able to pass background checks and all state onboarding requirements.

CPR/First Aid and familiarity with Procare/Brightwheel are a plus (training provided).
