Just Kids Christian Academy, a family-owned Christian preschool serving San Antonio families for over 30 years, is seeking a friendly, motivated, and highly organized Childcare Administrative & Classroom Support Assistant.
This is a versatile position combining front office responsibilities with occasional classroom support. We are looking for a team player who can confidently manage administrative duties while being willing to step into classrooms and assist teachers as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office & Administrative Support
- Greet families and visitors with a warm, professional attitude.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage parent communications.
- Schedule tours and follow up with prospective families.
- Assist with enrollment paperwork and student records.
- Support tuition billing, payment collection, and account follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate attendance and administrative records.
- Assist the Director with daily office operations and compliance documentation.
- Keep the front office organized and running efficiently.
Classroom Support
- Provide classroom assistance when needed to support daily operations.
- Help teachers during breaks, transitions, and staffing shortages.
- Assist with supervising children and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
- Follow classroom routines, licensing requirements, and center policies.
- Support teachers with age-appropriate activities and daily care when assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or childcare experience preferred.
- Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Friendly, professional, dependable, and flexible.
- Basic computer proficiency; Procare experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Willingness to assist in classrooms as needed.
- Must meet Texas childcare background check and applicable caregiver requirements.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Pay: Based on experience and qualifications
