Child Care Teacher / Closing Shift
Hours: 10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Do you love working with children and making a difference in their day? Just Kids Christian Academy is looking for a dependable, caring teacher who can work our closing shift and help children finish each day feeling safe, loved, and ready to return tomorrow!
As a family-owned and operated child care center serving San Antonio for over 30 years, we believe every child deserves a place where they belong. We are looking for someone who shares our values of kindness, teamwork, faith, integrity, and reliability.
What you’ll do:
- Supervise and care for children in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Lead or assist with age-appropriate afternoon activities.
- Help with snacks, diapering or toileting, and other daily routines.
- Communicate warmly and professionally with families at pickup.
- Work with other teachers to combine classrooms as needed.
- Clean and organize classrooms and complete closing duties.
- Follow center policies and child care licensing requirements.
What we’re looking for:
- Availability to work 10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
- A reliable team member who arrives on time and can be counted on to stay through closing.
- A patient, positive attitude and a genuine love for children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Child care experience is a plus.

Compensation: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
