Location: Sakonnet Early Learning Center – Tiverton, RI
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours: Up to 40 hours/week (rotating closing schedule required)

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team of early childhood professionals. Your Role:
- Deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons that build early literacy, math, motor, and social-emotional skills
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Establish strong relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with co-teachers and assist in lesson planning and classroom management
- Track child development progress and help prepare children for kindergarten readiness
- Promote positive behavior, classroom routines, and strong peer interactions
Qualifications:
- CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a licensed preschool or child care setting
- Solid understanding of child development and early learning frameworks
- Strong communication, observation, and classroom management skills
- Positive, team-focused attitude and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18+ and able to pass background checks
What We Offer:
- Pay: $16–$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Our goal is to strengthen the knowledge, skills and abilities of directors, owners, emerging leaders and other early learning professionals to ensure quality programs for young children.
