Join our warm, inclusive Pre-K classroom as a Preschool Teacher Assistant and help shape young minds through play-based, child-centered activities. This role is perfect for aspiring educators who love working with children and thrive in collaborative environments.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in delivering engaging lessons that encourage learning through play, active exploration, and kindergarten readiness.
- Support classroom management and help prepare materials for daily activities.
- Provide individual attention to students and foster social-emotional skills and positive behavior.
- Help monitor and document developmental milestones, sharing updates with families alongside the lead teacher.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Model respectful communication and cooperation.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Experience working with young children in group settings (childcare, camp, or after-school programs).
- Passion for child development, early learning, and positive behavior support strategies.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced educators.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor.
- Must be 18+ and able to pass all background checks.
